Hello, nice to meet you!

I am Satu-Maria Ruotsalainen, a photographer, mother of two young adults and a happy dreamer from Helsinki, Finland. I love the power of sea, colours of the nature, smell of coffee, small details and adventures of life. I have been self-employed in the wellbeing sector, mainly in the field of physical activity and education of children. I have published several books related to children's physical activities, which in the most recent books, I also worked as a photographer. I have always been eager to learn new things and combine different skills and experiences.

Over the years, I have been capturing the magnificent nature and charming postcard landscapes all around the world. My passion is to travel to different and unique places and capture them with my camera. I have always been an aesthetician and enjoyed the creative work, in which I can express my visual views. My photography combines storytelling, emotion and art, where imagination is the only limit.

Summer is my favorite season and that can be seen in my pictures, but I can always find fascinating subject and beautiful locations through out all the seasons. As a photographer, I like to shoot in nature as much as possible using the magnifincent source of natural of light.
